Handmade, Scrappy, Modern, Rainbow Star Quilt

This is a handmade quilt that was made using a collection of eight different colors to form a rainbow star. It is made with red, orange, pink, green, blue, purple and black fabric scraps. This rainbow quilt will cheer up any home. It is throw size and ready to be cuddled in.

Materials:

–It is made with 100% cotton fabrics, thread, batting, binding and backing.

Measurements:

–The quilt measures 56 inches by 56 inches.

Design:

–On the front of the quilt, rainbow stars on a gray background. It is black and metallic squares forming a chain between t         he stars.

–On the back of the quilt, it features a blue fabric with tiny florals.

–It has white and green striped binding.

–It is quilted with straight-line quilting and free motion quilting. It has straight lines quilted on the stars and through the black squares. It has free motion quilting in the gray background in swirls, paisleys, and flowers.

–This was pieced and quilted on a domestic home machine.

Care Instructions:

–Wash with cold water and tumble dry on low. Because it is made out of cotton, it will become softer and softer with each wash. The quilt has been washed to pre-shrink to give it a “crinkled” look.
