Follow this post to create your own 14 inch log cabin block or you can download the instructions here.

You will need to gather light and dark 2.5 inch strips and follow these instructions.

Check out my post on my finished Rainbow Log Cabin Baby Quilt to see what a finished quilt using these blocks looks like. Please leave a comment if you have any questions. Stay crafty!

Is it possible to mail me a printed copy of the instructions for the 14 inch log cabin block? I don’t have access to a printer.
Thank you very much.
Hi Marilyn, I’ll mail you a printed copy. 🙂
After many moves, I have lost your Log Cabin pattern. Would you please mail me a paper pattern or let me know what quilting book I can find it in. I don’t have a printer, so I can’t print from my IPad or iPhone. My address is:

Thank you
Can you email me the pattern please?
It would be nice to include yardage requirements in the download. My friend has bought two jelly rolls and was short on lights and now on darks. knowing the yardage required for each round would have allowed her to buy the proper amount of each shade. Thank you
Hi Boni! That’s a great idea! I’ll be sure to keep that in mind with the next pattern!
Thank you for this diagram, I couldn’t have done the log cabin block without it, cheers
